Editorial Board of the collection of scientific works

«SCIENTIA ET SOCIETUS» invite

Doctors of Sciences, PhDs, young scientists to cooperate,

and also other persons who have or receive higher education and are engaged in scientific activity in the directions of:

  1. Education. Pedagogy
  2. Social Behavioral Sciences
  3. Natural Sciences

 

In order to be able to submit articles to the collection and check the current status of your works, it is necessary to login in to the site http://ses.journal.in.ua/index.php/ses  or register.

To run in an article in the collection of scientific papers «Scientia et societus» it is necessary to send an article to e-mail tovkynlidiya@ukr.net, structured in accordance with the requirements. The title of the file with electronic version of the article must contain the name and surname of the author.

Manuscript submitted to the collection «Scientia et societus», must be original and unpublished. They should not be considered at the same time by other publication.  The article must be written on an actual theme, contain results of in-depth research and justification of the obtained scientific results.

The editorial board of the collection conducts internal anonymous review of all articles and checks for plagiarism using Unicheck.com. The review procedure can take up to 10 days. The editorial board reserves the right to reject articles by authors who do not comply with the above requirements. The authors are responsible for the accuracy of citations, surnames, references and facts given in the text of the submitted articles.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DESIGN OF ARTICLE

The article is submitted in the original language (Ukrainian or English).

 

THE TEXT OF THE ARTICLE SHOULD BE STRUCTURED (obligatory structural elements are highlighted in bold):

  • statement of the problem in general form and connection with important scientific or practical tasks; relevance of the topic;
  • analysis of the latest research and publications in which the problem is solved and which the author relies on, the selection of previously unresolved parts of the general problem to which the article is devoted;
  • formulating the goals (goals) of the article, setting the task;
  • methods of writing an article;
  • presentation of the main material of the research with a full justification of the obtained scientific results;
  • conclusions from this research and prospects for further exploration in this direction;
  • list of used sources and literature;
  • references (transliteration).

 

LOCATION OF STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS OF THE ARTICLE:

- UDC (in the upper left corner in bold);

- name, surname of the author (authors) (in the center of the sheet, in Ukrainian in bold);

- academic title, scientific degree, position, E-mail, ORCID, Researcher ID, place of work, postal address of the institution where the author (s) works (in the center of the sheet, in Ukrainian; size – 12 pt with a line spacing of 1.0);

 

ARTICLE TITLE (in capital letters, in the center of the sheet, in Ukrainian in bold);

- abstract of the article (in Ukrainian, italics, volume – not less than 1800 characters without spaces, including keywords; size –12 pt with line spacing 1.0). The abstract of the article should be structured. Definitely to include the purpose of the research and the methods used (research methodology), the main conclusions obtained. The abstract of the article should be informative (should not contain general phrases), meaningful  (should reflect the main content of the article and research results); logical (reflect the logic of presenting the results in the article);

- keywords (italics, bold, Ukrainian, 6-8 words; size – 12 pt with a line spacing of 1.0);

- name, surname of the author (authors) (in the center of the sheet, in English, in bold, size – 14 pt;);

- academic title, scientific degree, position, E-mail, ORCID, Researcher ID, place of work, postal address of the institution (on the right side, in English; size – 12 pt with line spacing 1.0);

 

ARTICLE TITLE (in capital letters, in the center, in English, in bold, size – 14 pt);

- abstract of the article (in italics, English, volume – not less than 1800 characters without spaces, including keywords; size – 12 pt with line spacing 1.0);

- keywords (italics, bold, English, 6-8 words; size –12 pt with a line spacing of 1.0);

- the text of the article in the original language (size – 14 pt with a line spacing of 1.5);

- list of used sources and literature (size – 12 pt  with line spacing 1.0);

- references (size –12 pt with line spacing 1.0).

 

Obligatory requirement for articles – quality, high level of English translation.

 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DESIGN OF ARTICLE:

- the total volume of the article – 12 pages;

- margins: top, bottom, left, right – 20 mm;

- the text of the article must be typed on a computer (editor MS WORD (version 1998-2003) for WINDOWS);

- headset: Times New Roman font, pins (size) 14 pt;  spacing - 1.5; information about the author, annotations, keywords, list of used sources and literature and references are typed in Times New Roman font, size - 12 pt with line spacing 1.0;

- paragraph indent – 1.25 sm (it is not allowed to create a paragraph indent using the Tab key and space marks);

- the text is aligned in width and typed without hyphenations;

- pages are not numbered;

- regarding the characters: only the following text should be quoted in the text: «», a dash is a short dash: «–». You do not need to put extra spaces, especially in front of square brackets or in parentheses. To prevent this, use the «Unprinted» function. Between initials, as well as between initials and surname (for example, Ivanenko I.I.), numbers and units of measurement (for example, 10 kg, 23°С), dates (for example, 2016, XXth century), as well as in names of settlements (for example, Kyiv) you need to put an inseparable space (Ctrl + Shift + Space ). In the case of writing abbreviations such as the nineties, second, etc. put an inseparable hyphen (Ctrl + Shift + hyphen);

- formulas must be typed in the Equation Editor, this editor is an internal formula editor in Microsoft Word. The components of the formulas in the text are typed in italics.

- figures and tables must be submitted in the article immediately after the text where they are mentioned for the first time, or on the next page. Tables in the text must be performed  in Excel or Word without filling. Drawings made in Word must be grouped together and represent a single graphic object. Drawings and photos (black and white, with grayscale) are «embedded» in the main text of the article and are given in the form of separate files in one of the following formats: TIFF, PCX, JPG, BMP, CDR. Tables and illustrations are numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals. Notes to the table are given only in the text. Illustrations are signed below. Captions to tables and illustrations are centered. It is not allowed to use in the materials scanned, or photographed, diagrams, drawings, tables, etc.

 

Citation and references in the text to literary sources  must correspond to the 7th  in the  APA style, for example  (Petrenko O. I, 2008; Petrenko O. I. and Sidorenko M. S., 2015; Smith, Grimm & Shell, 2017; Smith and other, 2020); if a page number is specified, it should be printed after a colon (Petrenko, 2020: p. 125).

The literature is designed in accordance with the requirements of «DSTU 8302: 2015. Bibliographic reference. General Terms and rules of assembly», of July 1, 2016).

For transliteration of the Ukrainian text into Latin the free site http://www.slovnyk.ua/services/translit.php is used (we choose the American variant); for transliteration of Russian text using the free site https://translate.meta.ua/ru/translit/.

It is important to remember that in foreign databases, a simple transliteration of a source name without its English translation is meaningless.

 

Articles whose authors do not have a scientific degree are additionally accompanied by the review of the candidate, Doctor of Sciences by specialty of publication or excerpt from report of the meeting of the department on the recommendation of the article for printing. A review or excerpt of the report shall be submitted in the original or in a scanned form by e-mail.

 

MANUSCRIPTS IMPROPERLY DESIGNED ARE NOT ACCEPTED FOR PUBLICATION!

 

The responsibility for the content, accuracy of the presented facts, quotations, figures and surnames of the article lies with the authors, not the editors or publishers. The editors reserve the right to edit and reduce, as well as literary correction of the article (while maintaining the main conclusions and style of the author). The editorial board may not share the authors’ worldviews. The author is responsible for the probability of facts, statistics and other materials.
